Dr. Buzzard was a character in the crime film “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and was based on the rootworker, Stephen Robinson. From South Carolina, Robinson was accused by the local sheriff for practicing medicine without a license. The case was unsuccessful due to one of the main witnesses fainting on the witness stand. Infamously known for “chewing the root” to bring forth legal justices, Robinson is associated with “Galangal Root (low john)” in the Hoodoo Tarot deck.

The aura mist, Dr. Buzzard, was curated with the intention to call forth victory and success for Black folks. Mist on the body before beginning a task, starting work on a project or during legal disputes. (Also, to just smell like a sex symbol).
